Because Russian figure skating champions are just this cool, fun, and epic.
Family Feuds

Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, which I watched last week, is at the heart of it one big story about family. Yes, what should’ve been the core of the Fantastic Four (that failure of franchise) has been shifted to the sequel of Marvel Studios’ sleeper hit from 2014.
Goddess. Warrior. Legend.

One month to go!
Looks like Warner Bros. is now overcompensating making up for the purported barebones marketing for Wonder Woman for which they were criticized by the internet last week.
Of course, it’s also true that perhaps, after the debacle regarding the over-saturation of Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad marketing last year which included the spoiler of Doomsday in BvS, they’re trying to practice some restraint. That’s good, but restraint doesn’t mean there should be a huge drop in Wonder Woman visibility so close to the release date.
Kings and States

I watched the original Kingsman: The Secret Service on a whim. I wasn’t even aware of what it was, but I was in the mall one day (when I was living in Pampanga for work) trying to think of what to do, and I checked out the available movies. The poster intrigued me, plus it was Colin Firth, so I went for it. And I’m glad I did because it turned out to be one of the best action/adventure spy movie I’d seen!
It also introduced me to the beautiful, young, and talented Taron Egerton and made me a fan for life. I also kind of want to marry him.
So boy am I excited to watch the sequel.
From Rogue to Hope

Now that is just awesome. This guy spliced the ending of Rogue One with the opening of A New Hope, and you can see just how much attention to detail the Rogue One had to ensure seamlessness in its connection to A New Hope. They really could be just one movie.
I think it’s time for a little original Star Wars trilogy marathon.

The Storm That Could’ve Been
by allancarreon on Apr.22, 2017, under Film & TV, Geeky, Queer
They truly missed the opportunity of a lifetime when they failed to cast Iman as Storm instead of Halle Berry in the original X-Men movies. Not only is Iman gorgeous, she also looks the part. She also has the perfect accent that is more appropriate for an African mutant worshipped as a goddess. Seriously, just look at and listen to her.
Ah, what could’ve (and should’ve!) been.
Luke At That!

So will they really be the last Jedi? Or will we see a rebirth?
I guess we’ll find out in December. Dammit.

Another Injustice
by allancarreon on Apr.06, 2017, under Geeky
I recently learned from a friend that Injustice 2 is already beta-testing its mobile version of the game. And because I’ve been eagerly been anticipating this for some time now, I immediately downloaded it.
The intro sequence is just awesome.
Check it out.
