Pitchforks for Justice
by allancarreon on Oct.19, 2017, under Film & TV, Geeky
As Justice League‘s opening date draws nearer, and with the recent full trailer released, more and more TV spots and promotional material are coming out. It’s absolutely nerdgasmic, and with the film less than a month away, I could only eat up as much as I could to satisfy my unabashed eagerness. Times like these make me wonder why patience is a virtue.
Bring it on, DC.
Justice is served.

Let’s take a break today from all the Persian goodness to look at the latest Justice League trailer drop. And of course, it is iconic. We also finally get to see some Cavill, but no Superman (just watch, it’s not spoiler-y what I said).
With the film out next month, the PR for this much-awaited live action coming together of DC legends (plus Cyborg, heh) will surely be cranking up a notch in the next few weeks. We’re in for a treat. I’m giddy with excitement.
You can’t save the world alone.

New Justice League trailer: Oh. My. God! This will slay! Leaguers! Amazons! Hippolyte! Themiscyra! Atlantis! Apokolips!
“No protectors here. No Lanterns. No Kryptonian.” Hmm. Sounds hinty!
The suspense is just too much.

Clark Turns Fifty
by allancarreon on Jul.31, 2016, under Film & TV
With all the hullabaloo around the recent reveal of Tyler Hoechlin in his Superman costume for his Season 2 debut on the Supergirl TV show (spoilers: I now think he’s a terrible miscast, visually at least, unless he’s playing Bizarro), I think we should not forget who IMHO is the best TV Superman to date. No, not Tom Welling, sorry.
Of course, I’m talking about none other than Dean Cain, star of 90s classic The Adventures of Lois and Clark.
And today, Dean celebrates his 50th birthday.
Without looking anywhere near fifty.
Damn those good genes.
